My razorcut from last week still burns, in case you care!
We had ward callings made at church yesterday. I'm a "ward missionary" and the Young Single Adult ward rep. Should be interesting...
I love it here. The workload can be unbelievably stessful at times, but I think that was mostly due in part to the fact that I added two new classes and started out a week behind in each of them. SO, so much reading to do to catch up, but I'm about there. I did happen to choose 5 reading-heavy courses though, so that was my own fault..
I am really feeling good about dropping English as my major though. Who knows if I'll switch back, but it's definitely not something I'm planning on doing any time soon. I think I'm going to spend this first year just figuring out what it is I want to do. I wish I had even a vague inclination...
In other news, I've been going to the library everyday. You'd think I would appreciate libraries more by now, esp. seeing as my mom works at one.. but nope. It took college for me to realize that the library is a freakin' sanctuary. I get so much work done. I just head there between/after classes and work til I feel good about myself!
I had to do my own laundry last night for the second time. I don't know how I feel about this whole "being responsible" thing - it takes some getting used to!
On Thursday I play my first intramural soccer game.. I can't even BEGIN to tell you how excited I am.
Today I'm off to a breakfast date at the Junction with my friend Karissa. Lata gatas.
